Captain Splendid took the train to Monaco to go to the boat show the other day, quite an event. I loved the little gift he brought back to me. He called it one of the most brilliant marketing campaigns he’s ever seen. It was positively broiling the day that he went. While some of the show was indoors, visitors had to go outdoors to view all of the spectacular yachts and their fittings.
The Feadship company {famous makers of massive motor yachts} was handing out these sporty fedoras, and reportedly, about 75% of the attendees were wearing them to protect their thinkers from the intense heat.
I have to say, it’s a little SWAG {stuff~we~all~get} ~ISH for me, but I have found this “fed” to be a perfect topper lately.
Very cool…..a hat you can wear with pride:) They don't make boats, they make houses on water! How fun and cannot imagine a more glamorous locale to attend a boat show!!
