I will never tire of seeing the incredible colors and craftsmanship that come from the small island of Murano, just a 20 minute water taxi ride from Venice. The other day my girlfriends and I had a chance to visit Venier Glassworks one of the more established glass houses on the island. Scroll down to enjoy the beauties that caught my eye. Oh, and guess what, you don’t even have to come to the island to have one of these works~of~art hanging from your ceiling. When we entered the factory the hallways were lined with boxes going to addresses all over the world.

I love Murano! I think that many people who travel to Venice miss out by not taking the time to travel to the surrounding islands! The white chandelier is my favorite, it would looks beautiful in any home.
