Don’t you love that special, muffled silence that a blanket of snow provides? All of Seattle awoke to that lack~of~sound the other day and it was {and still is} so beautiful.
The downy powder was piled up high, giving a lush cushion of pure white to the stark landscape of winter.
The dogs loved their new fluffy romping grounds.
Even abandoned rental bikes looked good with a dusting of the white stuff.
The snow added another layer of loveliness to the extensive botany we always enjoy in our spectacular Washington Park Arboretum.
From sunrise to sunset we enjoyed this lustrous walkway and there is more snow forecasted for this weekend
bring it on!
