As the days heat up, we all crave a little relief, the delightful pleasure of a fan and a breeze can be intensified with a mild {or massive} misting. The number of misting cans one can buy has expanded far beyond those first delightful original cans from Evian. But the fragrance is, well, lacking.
Why settle for plain? Using a olive oil spray bottle from your local kitchen store or HERE you can smell subtly enticing by pouring in a splash of Orange Blossom water along with cool tap water.

Would you prefer to enjoy the scent of a dewy rose? Then add a little Rose Flower Water to your brew.

Or, do you know what I find to be irresistible lately? The scent of tomato vines. In fact, the other day, I was tying up my tomatoes and a branch broke off {whoops}. So, I brought it inside and put it in a vase, now whenever I walk by it I touch the branches to get those volatile oils on my hands… it just smells like the best of summer!
So, guess what? Bert’s Bees makes a Garden Tomato Toner, which is marvelous in a mist.

I’m sure I am just scratching the surface here, but you get the idea. So go ahead, fill your spritzers and store them in the refrigerator. These can be a life saver on a road trip, bringing plenty of relief and giggles on a hot summer day. They are also great for sporting competition (but they will wash away sunscreen protection).
If you don’t have a chance to refrigerate, drop a couple of ice cubes in the opening to create the desired chilling effect.
What scent would you want to spritz??

Emily the Orange Blossom Mist sounds wonderfully refreshing!
