White and brown are the colors at the Bar du Soleil, next to Club Tahiti on Pampelonne beach. Though the brown has a tint of grey, which makes it look a little like wonderfully weathered driftwood. I find these colors to be very calming, and cooling, which is most welcoming on a hot day on the Cote d’Azur.
This club is decorated in a fun casual style, playing up the rustic beauty of indoor~outdoor living. Many of the effects I’m going to show you would be easy to repeat at home for summer living, or for a very fun summer fête.
I love the sitting rooms they’ve arranged in the sand and outdoor platforms. Striped pillows throughout the club are crisp and casual.
Canvases resembling sails provide partial shade in the platform area. Click HERE to see how we did this for a party in our courtyard recently.
“Inside” they have generous booths with banquettes available. The white cotton panels on the interior provide a soft, airy feel.
The weathered wood walls remind you that you are at the beach.
I love this feature they used on the dividers between the booths {2 images up}, and along the base of the banquettes {above image}, they attached varying widths of painted wood slats along it to repeat the stripe theme used throughout the club.
Bar du Soleil also offers massages, these marvelous driftwood orbs are the lighting along the spa corridor.
There is a great attention to the small detail at this club, making it very harmonious with the setting. Hand written sign on the teak entry table definitely suggests a casual setting.
As does the dried palm fronds over head, the beach hat casually topping the enormous bottle of rosé.
and the beach pebbles used to wait down the tabs.

What a way to spend a summer morning than to begin reading your posts from France!
My windows are open to the cool morning with sun shining and birds of all kinds calling over each other.
While I stayed focused on your writing I blissfully enjoyed not noticing all the "to do" projects around me. 🙂
Cheers!
