The weather was pretty steamy in Mallorca, so I was pleased to be able to sit in the breeze on this stone patio to primp for dinner each night.
When I travel, I always bring a little magnifying make~up mirror {aka my scary mirror}, so I can “freshen up” in any setting I choose. These are available at most drug stores. The one below also has a little battery operated light…it doesn’t provide much light, but it is could come in handy.
In addition to the breeze and the view, I liked sitting out here because this was the time of night when the herd of sheep on the property would head to their barn for the night. So, as I foofed, I heard the constant clanging of their bells and an occasional Baaahhh..
Here’s another good version of a mirror, which my travel buddy brought along….it has a magnifying mirror on one side, and regular mirror on the other side. Also, because it closes, the mirror stays cleaner.
Another item I like to bring on trips is this Oscar Blandi hair powder. It helps you to keep my “do” looking fresh a little longer between shampoos. To apply it, I use a cosmetic powder brush. I separate my hair into sections and dab the powder on the roots. After letting is sit for a couple of minutes, I flip my hair over, brush it out and style.
Baaahhh~eautiful!
Oh I love Mallorca, it's home from home for us Brits.
I think I spent every summer there from the age of 5 through 24 – we used to have a house in Deia then swapped it for one in Cannes.
And yes, "scary mirrors" – love that!
