I am feeling thankful just to have a roof over my head today.
The level of destruction people are facing in the Midwest is so devestating.
Flowers are pretty, but I was thankful to have found a better way to help those in need.
Here is a link from MSNBC, with a comprehensive list of things that can be done to help the victims. Included is information on facebook pages where people can post images of found pets and possessions, in hopes of getting them back to the owners.
The Red Cross is already on the scene providing shelter and food for those in need. You can text 90999 to donate $10.00 to help in the effort (it will be charged to your wireless bill). The Red Cross has also set up Safe and Well, a site where people can register their status and search for loved ones.
