Prafleuri Hut

According to the schedule from our wonderful guides at Pro Guiding services, by the time you read this, I shall (almost) be having a glass of chablis at 2928m at the Prafleuri Hut after
“an outrageous ski descent from to Champex (1477m.). Bus ride to Verbier. We will stop in for a short break in Verbier and then continue on to the Prafleuri Hut via the Col de la Chaux.” Proguiding Services
So, a little bit on accommodations. On my back I am carrying my turquoise backpack, which is essentially my pied a terre.
In this I carry my snacks, water, toiletries, a few items of clothing, and then, my technical gear, including an ice axe and probe.
In my pack I will also carry a silk bed liner, which I will use to line the sheets of the bunks in the huts.
At the Gorsuch store in Vail they have a wall filled with beautiful cotton linens…
with exquisite details…
they are even more seductive when all made up in the wonderful bedroom settings thoughout the store…
I don’t think my bed at the Prafleuri Hut will look quite like these, but one can always hope!
