Oh my, how we flitted about last weekend. We headed east to attend two holiday parties, each with very different, very beautiful decorations. We thought you’d enjoy seeing photos for ideas and inspiration. This beautifully lit tree served as a beacon to a resplendent celebration on a cold, clear evening in Denver.
We loved all of the sparkly peace symbols and white doves on the Christmas tree and throughout the house (many of the decorations came from Pottery Barn).
Snow, or no, this family is having a white Christmas..
Wonderful wines and homemade Lemoncello helped to make the evening bright!
The food was abundent and fabulous, here are some of the highlights: succulent hunks of King Crab legs with drawn butter,
French Onion soup served in a demitasse, with a cheesey puff (for the Splendid Market recipe for French Onion Soup click here);
Lovely green and white crudite with a green goddess dip (click here for SM green goddess recipe).Oysters galore!!Ho ho hos!!
As part of the entertainment a sultry Carole Buglewicz sang a moody “All I get for Christmas is the Blues” click here to enjoy!
Next stop, charming Sewickley!
