the beginning a roam around the South China Sea.
Something I’ve been dreaming about a trip like this for years and years.
I’m feeling {just a} little delirious from the jet lag,…. so not a lot of words today.
Can we just zen out together at the Man Mo Temple?
Where one can step into the ancient heritage of this modern city that now houses 7.5 million residents?
Where coils of incense fill the space {and the air on the street} with an intense fragrance that assures you that you are in a foreign land?
The Temple was built in 1847 and you’re overwhelmed with rich history of this building the moment you enter and begin observing the surroundings.
I still have more to write about the south of France, and todays trip to Vietnam.
But for now, I need to finish my dinner, then let’s all get a good nights rest and see what tomorrow brings.

Amazing, Emily! Love that first photo of you & I'm so glad that you are having this chance to make this travel dream come true! Can't wait to see more! XOXO
And you didn't bring me?? I could help you translate as I'm fluent in Cantonese
It's been so long since I was last in HK. Enjoy the yummy dim sum there! xo
I am SO envious! My son is leaving on August 1st for four months of work and study abroad in Hong Kong and I am trying to see if I can manage a trip over there to visit him. I can't wait to hear more about your trip! xoxo
