The drive to Ligurie Finale revealed picturesque views into the lifestyle on the Ligurian Coast. When we dropped down from the autoroute, closer to the sea we could really enjoy culture of the area, fishing ports, rustic sailing clubs, small resorts and beach clubs brought color and charm to this expansive section of the Med.
Visiting here, it’s apparent why they’ve found Neanderthal and Cro~Magnum tracings here, beautiful weather, plenty of seafood, caves for inhabitation, what more do we need??
Well, a little Rosato, maybe.
We visited Bagni Finalpia each day during our stay, it’s just below the hotel and was filled with charming Italian families enjoying life at the beach. Grandparents were rocking babies, topless toddlers were romping in the mild surf and adults were having lively conversations. What a unique treat to have a chance to be an inconspicuous interloper in this sparkling community.
I especially loved their lounge chairs, because they offered these handy panels that allowed you to block the sun from your face.
This is the neighboring beach club, I think this requires a membership to visit, not sure, but I loved the view of the castle above all of that raffia swaying in the breeze.
