Bon jour mes amis. I woke to this view this morning. I am still getting my bearings, but I believe this is the hill town of St. Jeannet. With Nice and the Mediterranean beyond.
By the time we made it here late last night all of the kitchens were closed in the local restaurants. But on restaurant kindly served us their cheese plate with hearty bread and a glass of rose wine.
What more do a couple of weary travellers need?
