One of the things I enjoy most about writing this blog is all of the connections I make with people from all over the world who have similar interests. I know it is fall, and I promise that I have plenty of fabulous autumnal post coming your way. But, with all of the Spanish posts, so many readers have let me know of their plans to travel to Spain in the near future that I just have to share another great find for those of you travelling to the Costa Brava, now or later, physically or virtually.
Also, did you know that all of the Splendid Market posts are filed away so you can easily find them later?? So, if you decide to take a trip to the Costa Brava in a couple of years and think to yourself “what was that fun dress shop I heard about on Splendid Market”? You can retrieve it easily, by clicking on ROAM on the nav bar at the top of the page. I’m a little behind on my filing right now, so you won’t find the Spanish posts listed just yet, but you will find plenty of information on travels to France, Switzerland, Mexico, California, Italy, etcetera, etcetera..
The Viva Bombay store is just a few doors up from the restaurant Sa Punta. The shop is filled to the brim with all sorts of colorful and unusual items made in India. It’s the kind of store that you have to circle around a couple of times before you can really start digging into the merchandise. If you are looking for a spot to spice up your summer wardrobe, look no further.
I mean, who doesn’t need a zebra skin holster to keep their camera and currency at the ready as they roam?
And this helmet, {not federally approved} would be wonderful for your next bi-plane ride {or an apre-bicycle event}.
Of course, it’s not as fantastic as the one my friend scored in the lower left corner, with horns!
They also have a beautiful selection of funky jewelry, I think these earrings are my favorite purchase.
There are 3 locations in the Costa Brava area.
And everything is packed in these fabulous recycled newspaper bags.
Time to hop on the bus!
~ adios Costa Brava!

This post makes me happy and smile.
Bruce ~ that is great, this was a very fun and happy day and we all laughed mucho!
Emily, totally agree that the connections you make are one of the highlights of blogging! It was so fantastic to catch up with you on all things from Barcelona to Blogger! Thanks for the inspiration!
What a fun post…would love me one of those zebra holsters! Definitely do want to venture into this part of the world soon and you can bet I will be consulting your archives.
