We have some great prizes to give away to some fortunate Splendid Market subscribers in honor of our 200th post!

It is sort of hard to believe that I have written over 200 posts. I remember when I wrote the very first post, on a snowy day, with a torn MCL, at a ski race on Mt. Hood. At that time, I said that I would write about once a week. In reality, I have found that there are so many things I want to share with you, I usually post 3 times a week. As it turns out, many things go by the wayside, because there is not enough time to write about everything that I would like.

But, it would be pretty dull to write, if there wasn’t anyone reading the posts, commenting, suggesting and striking up conversations on the topics. So, out of appreciation of you, splendid readers, and more specifically, the splendid subscribers, we are going to give away some gifts, a couple of which I brought back from Europe this summer.

The gift winners will be chosen randomly from our list of subscribers. If you haven’t yet subscribed to Splendid Market, now is the time. Once you subscribe, every Splendid Market post will be promptly delivered to your chosen mailbox or reader.

In the upper right hand corner of the home page you’ll see a box where you can enter your email address. Once you enter your address, click on “subscribe”. Then, you’ll be asked to type in the spam prevention letters; after that, click on “complete subscription request”. Next, Feedburner will send a confirmation notice to your email address. This confirmation may go to your spam, so check there if you don’t receive something from Feedburner right away. Once you receive the confirmation notice, it just takes one click to confirm that you would like to receive future Splendid Market posts, and then you are all set. You can unsubscribe at any time (but I hope that you won’t!)

There are 2 levels of prizes in this giveaway. To enter the first level, all you have to do is subscribe (if you’re already a subscriber, you’re golden). Fifteen randomly chosen subscribers will receive a packet of Splendid Market Post-it notes, just like that.

To be entered to win the second level of prizes, in addition to being a subscriber, you need to leave a comment, any comment will do, but I would really love to get some feedback from you. I’d love to know which are your favorite posts, generally (culinary, botany, etc.) or specifically. Also, I’d love to know what you’d like to see more of…recipes, parties, art, travel, flowers, products, real life….
