hydrangea bouquet

Multipurpose Hydrangeas

Fluffy hydrangeas make this bouquet so easy, it feels like you’re cheating!

The hydrangeas become the filler and the structure for the bouquet.

To make this arrangement, place enough hydrangeas in chosen container so it is almost full on the surface.

Choose complementary or contrasting flowers, we’re using a green rose and fragrant violet colored freesia, which complement the blue and white hydrangeas nicely.

Using fingers, separate the hydrangea flower clusters and slip in stems of roses, freesia, or the flowers of your choice. If you use freesia, be sure to include the green buds which haven’t yet opened, their shiny green color makes an interesting spiky accent.

Keep adding flowers around the bouquet to make sure color is fairly evenly distributed. The bouquet should fill in so there are no gaps between any of the flowers.

Finish the bouquet with a skirt of hydrangea leaves.

Here comes the bride!
