Stopping to Smell the Plumeria
Sea Grape trees can be found all over the British Virgin Islands. They produce small bunches of grapes that are eaten by birds and humans. The trees can grow to be large and sprawling.
They are a hardwood tree, so when clearing is necessary the wood is used to produce a nice, clean burning charcoal.
Pick it up, take in the scent, tuck it behind your ear and your mood will elevated to the tops of these trees!
The “shaka-shaka” bean trees — a musical instrument from Mother Nature.
Bougainvillea is a common sight crawling and climbing in warmer climates. Sometimes we find one single color of bougainvillea to be too bright, overpowering — almost gaudy! This walkway with the mixed colors offers a great balance of color, they all complement each other nicely.
A splendid succulent tree.
