Dear Readers:
I have finally done it, I have moved to The South of France. Somehow, I think this has always been a part of my destiny. It’s not a permanent move, I will be here for just over 5 months, while my daughter attends the International School in Nice for the first semester of the year.
While I am here, I plan to explore, absorb and live the French lifestyle to the fullest. I hope you will come along with me. My goal is to post something everyday, somedays it may be just an image or a phrase. Other days I’ll offer more in depth reports, I hope you will find the posts to be interesting and inspiring.
As always, I will file each post away in “the backroom”, I assume most of the posts will be under “roam” or “culinary”, so you can refer to them if you ever decide to take a similar journey. To access all posts, just click on the category on the horizontal bar below the logo.
A demain…

Félicitations! You have just moved to my favorite French city… where I hope to retire part of the year once my son is in college 🙂 I will be looking forward to your postings of photos. Where are you staying in Nice? Old Town? Massena? Near the Port? Have fun. Enjoy. This is one fabulous city. Veronique (French Girl in Seattle)

Bon jour Veronique: it is a wonderful part of the world. For now we are staying in the hills in st. Paul de Venice. Towards the end of September we will move to eze bord du mer, where we will be for the duration of our visit. It is pouring rain Seattle style today!

Thank you for all of the kind wishes and words. It's still sinking in for me, but pretty great so far!
