I’m feeling quite blessed to have been able to slide South of the Border with my gal pals for a few days.
We’re staying at the resplendently rustic, yet languishingly luxurious El Dorado. Where the views of the sea are only enhanced by the quality craftsmanship and details of the architecture.
I’ve never met a thatched roof structure I didn’t love and this grand palapa is no exception.
The large tin lanterns swaying in the breeze over head make it all the more compelling.
I am mesmerized by these blue mosaic chimneys,
which are even more stunning with the contrast of the terra-cotta roof and the stone cliffs behind the property.
I love every organic detail of this resort,
from the rough cut beams and branches overhead
to the decorative stone walkways underfoot.
That’s all for now, amigas.
I’m off to enjoy my last few hours in paradise.
Adios.
