The setting is wonderful, rustic and elegant. With a lovely balance of old and new elements.
We were relieved to see a try of snacks in the ranch house upon our arrival.
After a brief check it we were delivered to our rooms, sweet little cottages, with reclaimed wood floors, white linens and simple decor.
The plan here is to keep the campers busy. So we won’t spend much time within these 4 walls, but it will be a nice retreat at the end of an active day.
Better images and stories will be coming soon, wi~fi is not available at the ranch, so I had to quickly post this on the way to hikes.

This looks lovely! I am SOOOO curious to hear how you feel before vs. after – I have always wanted to do one of these (my body needs a serious cleanse from sugar especially!). 🙂
Barbara ~ I've been thinking of you, we have a woman from Hamburg in our group. This is a great experience. I will be writing more about it tomorrow. ebh
Hi Emily – wanted to share a small world story with you. A friend of mine saw a comment you left and clicked over to your post which happened to coincidently be about the Ranch. It turns out she designed all their branding, website, etc, her husband did the photography and one of her best friends did the landscape design. Before she told me this, I had sent my landscape arch a link to the Ranch (after learning about it from your blog) to get a feel for the farmhouse vibe. Such a small world made even smaller by blogging! Can't wait to hear all about it!

Love that story, Serena. It is a small world in the blogosphere. I'll be posting more, the decor was really beautiful, great "ranch" touches. Your friends did a great job with the branding and landscaping…a very pleasant place to be. xo ebh
