Introducing Arabella
A giant wave of roses has washed over the courtyard at the Market.
Beneath these fragrant sprays, we’re busy filling the beds with herbs, flowers and greenery in anticipation of warm summer breezes.
If you are looking for some garden inspiration click on Potager. In this piece from the back room we visit a variety of gardens (including Marie Antoinettes portager), from the most complex to the absolute easiest.
Arabella is eager to help,
as we place the new plants in the warm soil,
and secure the climbing roses and raspberries canes.
Have a nice weekend, we hope you enjoy some beauty,
and tranquility.

Arabella is adorable!!! What breed is she? A German Shorthair? Regardless, congratulations on the new addition to your family. Life wouldn't be nearly as wonderful with dogs would it? Loved this post!
On a completely different note – I'm looking to change my domain name as to eliminate "blogspot" from my title, I see you have your own domain name. What was your experience with changing over and do you have any suggestions on how to make it as smooth as possible.
Thanks for any help.
I hope your weekend is going well. =)

Hello SL — Arabella is the french cousin to the German Shorthair — she is a Braque du Borbonnais. This breed nearly became extinct back in the 17th century in France because there was too much innerbreeding in the royal families.
The Borbonaise region is in the Dorgongne (spelling??) I may go over and get another one — althogh this little dear is a bit of a handful right now.
I'll email you on the domain name.
