Frosted Pumpkins

It’s that seasonal transition time! If your abode looks something like this:

But you’re dreaming of something more like this:

Don yourself a pair of gloves, find a a can of metallic spray paint (silver and gold, silver and gold, everything’s pretty with silver and gold) and cover your work area with plenty of newspaper.  Then start spraying!
For smooth coverage, paint one side of the pumpkins and allow them to dry.  Once completely dry, rotate the pumpkins and paint the other side.
We had a hard time stopping at pumpkins.  Look at the transformation of this nest that was left behind.  Won’t this look splendid on the Christmas Tree??
The hedge apples look very festive when frosted.
Hmmmm, wouldn’t it be nice to have a few more silvery accents around the market in flower arrangements and vingettes?
