Does the “apple a day” theory count if they are battered and fried??
Chunks of fresh, crunchy apples, cloaked in this ridiculously easy to make dough and then dropped into bubbly oil make the most delicious apple fritters. Hot from the fryer, your friends and family will enjoy a crunchy golden brown shell enclosing a tender white pastry studded with fresh apple chunks. The warmth and texture of these morsels are the perfect foil to cold Autumn mornings and crisp afternoons.
