I am always on the hunt for cool. old, silver pieces… trophies, trays, platters. I especially love finding pieces that have been engraved, marking an important event or a family name.
Years ago, I was thrilled to find this silver plated tea set at an estate sale, bearing my family initial. I’ve been arranging flowers in the various vessels ever since.
I love the deep gray patina they’ve developed, I think it’s flattering to any flower.
I’ll never know who had these made or for what occasion, but they have become a cherished part of my collection.
They're beautiful…and such a special find! How fortunate they are to have you to care for them and use them now…it was meant to be.
